About me:

Born and raised in Austin TX, I’ve called New Braunfels home since 2009. I’m a wife, mom, and passionate advocate for my children and the autism community. My husband Matt and I have been married since 2020 and share a beautifully blended family of 7 kids. I love Jesus, spending time with family and friends, baking, cooking with my husband, traveling with my kids, volunteering at their schools, and cheering on my two daughters at dance competitions. Being a mom is one of my greatest privileges. I love celebrating each of my children for exactly who they are, embracing their differences, and advocating for them. My experiences as a mother to a son on the autism spectrum has given me a deep passion for inclusion and supporting other families in the autism community.

My why:

My why began with my son, who was diagnosed with autism in 2024 and was nonverbal until age 4. I left my career to become his full-time caregiver, and through that journey, I found a deep passion for the autism community. I know firsthand how important it is for families to feel supported, encouraged, and understood. I want to use my experiences to connect with other families, advocate for individuals on the spectrum, and help create a community where children and adults with autism are truly included, valued, and given opportunities to thrive.

Fun fact:

I was a wedding makeup artist for 11 years before becoming my son’s full time caregiver. I have always enjoyed art and being creative with all things. I now use baking as a creative outlet now that I am a stay at home mom. Especially going all out for my children’s birthday cakes!
