About Me:

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I always knew I wanted to help children in some capacity. While studying at the University of Houston, I took a behavior analysis class as part of my degree program. In that class, I ran into an old high school friend who said she was doing in-home ABA therapy working with children on the autism spectrum. She asked if I wanted a job and that was the beginning of my love of working with children on the spectrum and learning ways in which I can help improve the lives of children and their families. After graduating, I pursued my masters in applied behavior analysis, and as I was doing so, became a board certified associate behavior analyst. One of the in-home families I was working with ask if I would help her open up a an ABA center. In 2004, together, we opened Spectrum of Hope.
In December 2005, I had my first son Jacob. I decided that next year to step back and raise my son and be stay home mama. In 2009 we welcomed another boy, Finnley, and the month after he was born, we moved to the beautiful town of New Braunfels! In 2014, we had our princess (and only true New Braunfels local ) Isabella. I have been blessed to be a homeschool, stay at home mom for the last 20 years, but always kept my passion and love for helping children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

My why:

My goal is to finish my Masters degree and obtain my BCBA. I want to help children with ASD and their families grow and flourish, not only in their home but also in the community!
I want to spread awareness and acceptance in our community and beyond.

Fun fact about me:

I have four dogs, three cats, six chickens, and my son has a snake, a bunch of fish, and a leopard gecko! I absolutely love animals! My dream is to live on a farm with lots of land and have as many animals as I can!!
